Earthworm Jim Creator using Kickstarter to Fund New Game, Armikrog

Doug TenNapel, the creative mind behind Earthworm Jim, and Pencil Test Studios, who created the Neverhood franchise, have started a Kickstarter campaign to get a new game, Armikrog, funded.

Armikrog is a stop motion point-and-click adventure game about a space explorer named Tommynaut and his blind dog, Beak Beak. They crash on a strange planet, and find themselves locked up in a fortress called Armikrog. It will feature the music of Terry S. Taylor, and the voices of Mike Nelson (Mystery Science Theater 3000, Rifftrax), Rob Paulsen (two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shows, and many others), and more.

Armikrog has a projected goal of $900,000, and is currently at $413, 348. Anyone who wants to contribute can do so here. There are rewards for anyone who donates $30 or more.

I'm an English Major with an emphasis in writing. When I have the free time, I love to play video games. I'll play just about anything, but my specific favorites are side scrollers, action games, and fighting games, specifically the Super Smash Bros. series. I prefer to play as a team, but I'm just as willing to compete, so long as the game is fun.
