The official Twitter account for Killer Instinct released a trailer yesterday showing that their next playable character, Eagle, would be released in June. Rukari Austin, the community manager for the game, later specified that Eagle would be available after E3.
According the the Killer Instinct wiki, Eagle’s real name is Tipyeléhne, and he is the brother of Chief Thunder, who has been a playable character since the original Killer Instinct (different sources claim that he is older or younger than Thunder). He was kidnapped by Ultratech, and used as the basis for Fulgore, their own cyborg warrior, and one of the most iconic characters in the series. Eagle existed back in the first game, but this is the first time he will be playable.
Looks like fans will have something to look forward to next month.
