Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
After a series of leaks, Ubisoft finally revealed Assassin’s Creed Origins at E3 2017. The game is confirmed to take place in ancient Egypt, where we’ll likely discover the inception of the Assassin and Templar organizations. Whether or not the game will return to highlight the wacky future story and the precursor beings is yet to be seen, but the game generally looks similar to the previous titles in gameplay. However, the acclaimed naval combat of Assassin’s Creed III, Black Flag, and Rogue has already been revealed to make a return.
On top of the announcement trailer is a gameplay walkthrough, which outlines a bit more about the game, including an RPG twist on the somewhat-tired formula.
Stay tuned to NLGO for more coverage in the coming months, and a full review of Assassin’s Creed Origins when the game drops on October 27th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
