Back in August, Frontier Developments revealed that they were working on Jurassic World Evolution, a simulation game that would allow players to create their own dinosaur park. On October 7th, the creative team behind the game held a Frontier Expo to discuss the gameplay, showed off a few screenshots, and revealed some in-game footage (which you can view on its own here).
Jurassic World Evolution will task players with bio-engineering their own dinosaurs, and creating parks around five islands to draw in tourists and expand their business. But as any Jurassic Park fan knows, nothing goes according to plan. Tropical storms, diseases, and other obstacles will test the players’ ability to keep the park running (and the dinosaurs from eating your visitors).
Jurassic World Evolution will be available on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One around the same time that the new movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, hits theaters.
