Animal Crossing has been a popular, if bizarre, series. Unlike most of Nintendo’s games, there’s no fighting weird monsters, solving puzzles, or jumping on enemies. It’s a community simulator, allowing you to catch bugs, chat with your neighbors (all of whom are anthropomorphic animals), and just live through day-to-day life in a small town.
Their most recent entry, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, is a mobile game for Android and iOS devices. It’s been missing a few of the elements that have been staples of Animal Crossing, but Nintendo announced via Twitter today that gardening and clothes crafting will be added to the game soon. In addition to these features, the tweet also mentions “a familiar face” returning, showing a silhouette of a cat character.
All of this is coming next month. If you’re playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, then you have something to look forward to.
