Rising Thunder Coming to PC for Free

Back in 2015, Radiant Entertainment revealed that they were working on Rising Thunder, a fighting game where robots battled it out with each other. Alas, the game was cancelled when Radiant was bought by Riot Games last year.

Yesterday, Radiant took to the Rising Thunder subreddit to announce that they were releasing the final build of the game onto the PC for free. They will also include offline local play, and an open-source server with source code, allowing players to play the game online again.

Rising Thunder will be available for free in January, and Radiant is also working on something else, which they’ll tell us more about “when the time is right.” Sounds like fans are in for a few treats.

I'm an English Major with an emphasis in writing. When I have the free time, I love to play video games. I'll play just about anything, but my specific favorites are side scrollers, action games, and fighting games, specifically the Super Smash Bros. series. I prefer to play as a team, but I'm just as willing to compete, so long as the game is fun.
