Laundry Now Part of The Sims 4

The fourth addition to the Sims franchise has seen jobs and pets added to it over the years. As of today, EA and Maxis have finally released content that allows sims to do something fans have been requesting for a long time: laundry.

The Laundry Day Stuff Pack, as EA is calling it, was first revealed on January 10 on EA’s official website. It allows sims to install washing and drying machines in their homes, and also includes a clothesline for sims to hang their laundry on to dry. EA doesn’t outright say it, but they call laundry “the most relaxing of chores” on their site. Assuming the article wasn’t sarcastic, it’s possible that doing the laundry might help your sim’s mood at times.

A washtub is also available for sims who like to be outdoors. A country decor is available for those who would prefer to avoid doing laundry altogether, and includes items like “wood tables, wicker furniture, colorful rugs, floral-filled baskets, and more!” Clothing such as denim also goes with this style of household.

The Sims 4 is out now on the PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Laundry Day Stuff Pack is available on the PC and Mac. Check out the trailer here.

I prefer to play as a team, but I'm just as willing to compete, so long as the game is fun.
