BioWare is releasing the first post-retail patch for Mass Effect 3, and it also coincides with the first bit of multiplayer DLC, which will be free to download. The downloads will be available April 9th for PC and X-Box 360, and April 10th for the PS3.
Darek Larke, community manager at BioWare, made both announcements in the BW forums. The patch will cover bugs that have been present for the past month, including issues with importing faces from previous games’ Shepards, crash issues, and more.
The Resurgence DLC pack will add a new map, more race/class combinations to the multiplayer arenas, in addition to allowing the players to buy more gear in the store.
A marketing video for Resurgence has been posted to youtube. The NLGO staff review for ME3 can be found at this link.
