The Headlines:

Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm Playable at MLG Anaheim: If the incredible competition in Starcraft II, League of Legends, and Soul Calibur wasn’t exciting enough, Major League Gaming has announced that there will be demo stations for Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm all over the venue. The demo stations will feature the current multiplayer build for Heart of the Swarm in order to generate some feedback before the upcoming beta test.

League of Legends World Championships to Feature $3 Million Prize Pool: Last year, we saw an amazing prize pool for not-yet-released MOBA, DOTA 2, set at $1 million. This year, Riot Games will be featuring a $5 million prize pool for their second season, with $3 million set aside exclusively for the championship.

Global Starcraft II Team League Teams Revealed: Season 2 of the Global Starcraft Team League (GSTL) will begin at the end of this month, and a list of all participating teams has been released. In addition to last season’s ten teams, two major teams, TeamLiquid and Fnatic, have been added. The current roster is as follows: FXOpen, MVP, SlayerS, Prime, ZeNEX, TSL, TeamLiquid, OgS, IM, Startale, NS HoSeo, and Fnatic.
